| Biography
Ever since I can remember I have collected something. When I was young, it was baseball cards and comics. As I grew older, I began to be fascinated by books. Over the years, my personal collection grew as well as my love for rare books. In 2003, I relocated to Northern Utah from a small town just outside of Washington, D.C. I spent two years working in the conservation lab of Utah State University under the direction of Noel A. Carmack, honing my skills, as well as my desire to devote my life and research to the conservation of rare books and ephemera. After leaving Utah State University in 2005, I successfully established my own private conservation practice. From 2006-2007 I had the opportunity to work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in their archives conservation lab under Chris McAfee. I had the joy, in 2006, of marrying my best friend, Adriane, who is an amazing artist and shares my passion for letterpress printing and book arts. I am now back in full time private practice and we maintain our studio in Logan, Utah. I am currently persuing a degree program in conservation through the American Academy of Bookbinding under the direction of Donald Etherington. I look forward to working with you sometime in the future...
